Labrador
This breed of dog originated from Newfoundland in the 1800s, from where they were brought to England by fishermen. They make excellent gun dogs (hunting), given their stature. Moreover, they make excellent service and guide dogs in contemporary times. Labradors are gentle by nature and make great pets.
