Toy Pom

A descendant of the German Spitz, the Pomeranian represents one of the more popular toy dog breeds from Germany and Poland, more specifically the Pomerania region of Poland. Though they are small in size, they tend to be feisty in nature, taking on challenges much bigger than themselves. They are also on the more vocal side, so neighbors may take issue.

Characteristics: Playful, friendly, social, active, extroverted, intelligent.
